Kucinich“In The Name Of Fighting Terrorism We Are Creating More Terrorists
“Our soldiers are sitting ducks in a shooting gallery. If we really cared about them we would bring them home.

“Iraq’s leaders will ultimately seek peace and reconciliation with its diverse armed groups through renouncing the US presence.

“Yet, we are building permanent bases in Iraq.

“It is time for our nation to seek truth and reconciliation over 9/11 and the war in Iraq. Otherwise our national agenda will continue to be held captive in Iraq.

“The Bible says, ‘You shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free’.

“The truth is Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction.

“The truth is in the name of fighting terrorism we are creating more terrorists.

“You shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free. We must free ourselves from this war. We must reconcile with those who wrongly took us into Iraq.

“We must seek the truth.”

1. DK is a great man
no doubt about it. He serves his district and our country with great honor. Proud to have voted for him in the AZ Primary in '04.

3. The whole issue of building permanent bases is one the corpmedia REFUSES
Edited on Wed Jun-21-06 03:35 PM by blm
to discuss. Kerry has been talking about it for over 3 years and including the debates. Clark has been talking about it for as long. Kucinich and otherr Dems keep bringing up the issue of permanent bases. The corpmedia stays STONE SILENT and do not want the American people to hear the TRUTH.

There has to be a SERIOUS REASON why the media avoids this matter - they know the American people will not accept permanent occupation that Bush is gearing towards.

6. that and privatizing the economy
and how Bremer held back elections in order to write shit like intellectual property into law. The Coalition Provisional Authority was the de facto leadership in that country and from an international standpoint, Bremer set about writing stuff into stone before any viable Iraqi government could do a damn thing about it. Privatized the whole economy and set about making permanent bases to protect our newfound economic interests there. The plan was never to leave, but to create a U.S. proxy. Meanwhile, you have the Dumb and Dumber corporate MSM showing people with freaking inkstains on their fingers. I'd have to agree with you, wholeheartedly. The media is flat-out laying down on this stuff.

10. Both the House and the Senate passed an anti-permanent base amendment--
--which was stripped out of the joint bill. That means that a number of Repubs are supporting Kucinich on this issue.

12. They strip it because they know if the public heard about the details
Bush's numbers would start tanking again.

4. What do you say when you see your nation descend, sleepwalking, into
the lower realms of Dante's Inferno? - paraphrase of comment by Dennis Kucinich.

What do you say?
What do you do?
