About those "WMD" -- pass it on
ESPECIALLY to Republicans:

The Bush administration commissioned the Iraq Survey Group to determine whether in fact any WMD existed in Iraq. After a year and half of meticulously combing through the country, here’s what the administration’s own inspectors reported:

While a small number of old, abandoned chemical munitions have been discovered, ISG judges that Iraq unilaterally destroyed its undeclared chemical weapons stockpile in 1991. There are no credible Indications that Baghdad resumed production of chemical munitions thereafter, a policy ISG attributes to Baghdad’s desire to see sanctions lifted, or rendered ineffectual, or its fear of force against it should WMD be discovered.

3. What did they find, a plugged toilet in a Tikrit bus station?
Stand back and let them look like a bunch of fools.

America isn't buying it - again.

4. What is the true lesson about Iraq and our gov't? Katrina.
The response to the legal citizens in this country who were desperate or dying by all parts of our government said it all. Today its this community, tomorrow its your own. Vote the schmucks out in November.

10. Santorum is going to lose his seat. He's like a kamikaze right now.
Or maybe he's been promised a little tweak of the machines if he works his ass off to spread this lie. :eyes:

11. More info....
Offering the official administration response to FOX News, a senior Defense Department official pointed out that the chemical weapons were not in useable conditions.

"This does not reflect a capacity that was built up after 1991," the official said, adding the munitions "are not the WMDs this country and the rest of the world believed Iraq had, and not the WMDs for which this country went to war."

13. I particularly admired William Kristol's ...
act on FAUX.

To paraphrase:

"Yes, well we KNEW the WMD's were there, but REALLY, it is
beneath us to have to prove it or get loud about it. Our
main concern was protecting America, not winning a popularity
contest.

Blah, blah, blah.

What a spinning, *ucking LIAR he is.

I don't watch FAUX, but last night while clicking through
the channels after a rough day at work, I happened to
see "Man on Dog" "reporting" on the "WMD's",
and Kristol's "interview" afterward.

Made me SICK. :puke:

Just to spread the vomit around, here he is:

14. Would this even constitute an "American Threat' even if it was true??
How would Iraq deliver the munitions to the U.S.? By throwing them at us?

16. See reply #15
We must fight this fire with fire. He wasn't a threat, and if we find WMD it shows that he wasn't because he could have used them against us.

17. It reminds me of a Lewis Black joke.
After the Iranians build their nuclear war head, they hire 500 iranians to throw it at us.

15. Not just that, if he did have WMD, why didn't he attack us?
Edited on Thu Jun-22-06 08:27 AM by originalpckelly
Wasn't that the point of attacking even if he did have the weapons? That's the thing, it shows he wasn't a threat.

This is a Rove play, but remember we can use this awful tactic against him.

Anytime you hear a conservative bring this up, remember to ask this one question:
If he had WMD and he could have hurt us, why didn't he attack us? He had 12 years to that, plenty time to do something like that. Why didn't Saddam attack us?
