I ran into a recruiter at a professional association convention I attended

I laughed and said, I guess I'm too old

he asked how old

I said 44

he said well you could join up to 45

I know it used to be 42 in my profession

they are haaaard up

but they probably still wouldn't have taken me

not that I was really interested in going

As bad as I need a job, I would fight that Fascist bastard's war even if I were 42. In fact, I wouldn't fight it even if doing so would allow me to again be 42!
