how does one explain Bush's hatred for the American people ?
how can he laugh and joke about soldiers dying for lies ? how can he ignore suffering Americans with the "i have to go on with my life" shit. how can he just deny help to people affected by natural disasters ? why does he treat Cindy Sheehan like she is nothing.

1. wernicke korsikoff syndrome
he's brain damaged from drugs/alcohol but to be honest i doubt he ever had all that much to begin with, remember when we joked and laughed about how stupid his dad was -- and poppy now looks like "bush the smarter!" in comparison to this crackhead

2. The Bush Family Is Evil, Always Has Been, Always Will Be
It's just something in their DNA, I guess. Junior is no more evil than his dad or grandfather. It's just a family tradition.

"George why do you lie? George, why do you bomb countries. It's a family tradition."

People, not so much. The Bushes aren't all that special, they're just the latest thing.

7. Lack of empathy
My guess is not only from being shielded from the harshness of life, but also add his drug and alcohol problems plus that mother of his.

He was never raised to have any compassion or feel empathy for people in general. His total incompetence added to it.

Just speculation on my part.

16. Barbara has done a lot for the children part of the hospital in Maine
I also know people who have met her as they worked on her swimming pool in Kennebunkport so I am not sure how she thinks but she comes out with things that sound as if she has no empathy. Son I do not think has any at all and sounds amoral.

Bush the younger scares the piss outta me.

I hope the Dems win control in Nov. so he can become a lame duck president. His policies are dangerous.

10. It's worse than hatred ... it's indifference
The real throwback "let them eat cake" stuff.

Remember, fascism -- monarchism -- theocracy -- it's all the same thing. A belief that some minority has the right to rule the majority. And ruling means owning. Subjects are property, not people.

It matters little if it's the true believers, a master race, a family dynasty, a ruling class, or the current DC/Euphemedia Analstocracy.

It's all anti-democratic, thus Anti-American.

11. I agree...it's indifference. "We" aren't even on Bush's radar
We just don't matter to him. We are tools...to be used or ignored - depending on the need. If not for speech writers and political advisors, Bush would never acknowledge we even exist.

12. Bingo!.. the "noblesse" without the "oblige".
He doesn't think about them one way or another.

The wellbeing of the people in this country just plain isn't on his radar. He has little to NO contact with them; no sense that they have anything in common with him or his family and no interest in whether they prosper or starve.

15. religion
His religion tells him he can avoid her until he dies, and then he's made,
as he's going to heaven. He's a suicide bomber and since he strapped on
his vest in 2000, its been the same expression, the same action and the
same result.... a huge mess, deaths all over, and a man who's flayed corpse
is embracing 72 thousand dead civilians. Allah Akbar.

20. It's not hatred because it isn't personal -
quite simply, he just doesn't care one way or the other about our insignificant little lives. We are nothing more than a herd of cattle to him; here to be used and manipulated for his advantage. People like Bush and his buddies see themselves as entitled and the rest of us aren't worth a second though. This sums it up:

"Why should we hear about body bags and deaths," Barbara Bush said on ABC's "Good Morning America" on March 18, 2003. "Oh, I mean, it's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?"

23. I Have Never Seen a President...
...who cares so little about the American people. Even Reagan tried to act like he cared. I hope that one day, Bush is forced to meet face to face with his critics. I'm tired of how sheltered he is. A President should not be sheltered from his own people.

Oh, well. At least regular Republicans are starting to realize how little he cares about them, too. He has been ignoring them too of late.

29. Bush neither hates nor loves the American people. He really
just doesn't give a damn one way or the other. He is driven by the lust for power and money, no deeper than that. He is a run of the mill narcissist manipulated by some shrewed crooks.
