Silly Republicans: On "WMD"
So you have heard that Saddam Hussein really should have been taken out because he still had weapons of mass destruction. Of course what Republicans didn't realize is that this "latest" discovery proves Saddam wasn't a threat at all. He had these weapons before '91. If he wanted to give those weapons or any WMD to terrorists to use against our country, he could have. He didn't. We were a credible threat, and it deterred Saddam from attacking us.

Thanks Republicans, for proving the war in Iraq really isn't necessary and is totally pointless. So sad that so many people have died because these idiots couldn't realize this simple truth.

2. it is total validation for them, though i remind them that is NOT why
we went to war and it was expected to find some of these. all talked about these prior to war. they are old and useless and not a threat. the reasons for war was 9/11 connection, mushroom clouds, drones and aluminum tubes.

they still argue that we said there was NONE. and that we WE are now shifting the goal post,..... consistantly amongst all.

8. No, actually, it is not validation for them.
Mustard gas is not, never has been, a "WMD".

Gass munitions have life spans; 3-4 years. Pre-Gulf War munitions by 2003 were good...for salad dressing.

NO WMD in Iraq.

Fact.

I heard he's still claiming we have indeed found WMDs in Iraq.

He's getting a little desperate.

This is a Rove ploy by the way. But unfortunately for Rove, I'm playing the game now as well. Only I'm much younger and will outlive him. Just remember all of these things we are hearing are variations of this quote:
"The whole art of war consists in a well-reasoned and extremely circumspect defensive, followed by rapid and audacious attack." --Napoleon, Karl Rove

Fortunately, these assholes have worked themselves into a corner. In fact with this latest move I think we can whole-heartedly prove Saddam wasn't a threat.

5. Rick was backing off a little on Imus' show today. Imus got on his case
then Santorum started to get defensive and embraced the story once again.

Imus asked him "what will you do with your time if you lose the election?".
