8. oh god, I don't want to hear the results
I know those sinking repigs are going to vote this down, they just don't want the dems to get any credit for anything, even to the point to having more of our troops being killed everyday.

They can go F themselves in their war on terror.

11. And yet, it will have two more votes than last weeks
fake airing of this amendment got.

That is progress, slow as it may seem. Two more a week would be nice.

21. One by one, person by person, we make the case
There is no other way. Remember, the American people are with the idea of a timed withdrawal. IT's the Republicans who are out of step. It's some Democrats who have to be coached out into the sunlight and told to stand up and do what's right.

We will win. But it will take time. Convincing people to be brave and to take a risk always takes time.

In it for the long haul, btw, as I think you are too!

36. I wonder if they put Kerry's amendment first - so then people would
be free to switch and vote yes to Levin. Hell, at least it's something. Every freakin Dem should vote for Levin's plan. Of course not Joe Mo

38. That's what I expect to happen, and so did they.
Last night, we were only expecting about 8 or 9 votes onn this amendment, so this morning's vote was actually a success in breaking through to more senators.
