4. numbers
How would you vote on today's two Democratic proposals to withdraw American troops from Iraq?   * 707 responses

I'm with Sens. Kerry and Feingold -- set July 1, 2007 to bring the troops home.
33%
Sens. Levin's and Reed's approach of urging the president to redeploy by Dec. 31, but not setting a hard date is a better idea.
20%
The United States is committed to bringing democracy to Iraq and we have to see the mission through.
39%
None of these approaches satisfied me.

6. If you add up the first two
Kerry/Reingold plus Levin's, it's more than half of the responders:

9. Standard trick to bias the outcome.
They do it because they know there's some division in Democratic
feelings.

The polls have been running ~60% sane and ~30% insane lately. So,
whoever comes up with these polls has been splitting the questions
so that it's plausible the ~30% insane is a competitive percentage.

If they would word the poll question:

Out NOW!
Duhbullya!

The numbers would be shockingly for getting out NOW!

11. Many in the bottom group are likely extremely anti-Iraq
Only 38% buy the Bush plan. (I assume many people who voted the bottom one wanted an earlier return.)
This is designed to splinter the anti-Bush categories.

8. Tough choices---lousy questions.
Seems like they purposely jack up the questions, delivering useless conclusions.
