2. Are we unified? Or was Ed having a "Rush" moment?
BAAAD Ed for falling for the Republican/neocon talking points. But we can teach him a lesson. We're unified alright! (Besides, we're unified behind Kerry's plan more than Reid's and it's not uncommon to see a percentage not supporting both. Reid screwed up and should have not taken the easy path and instead asked the Dem's to unite behind Kerry/Feinsgold/Boxer! Reid tanked this. Not kerry!

3. we need to get on the same page. I voted for Kerry's plan.
Most voted for "any plan" - dear ol' Ed set the poll to split our vote - advantage - backwash.

8. At least it shows that Dems prefer
Kerry's plan over the wussy-Republican lite Levin plan

9. Now he's claming to be a "progressive talker"?
C'mon fat Eddie, even you don't believe that.

You're a center-right dem at best, giving you the benefit of the doubt that your recent "conversion" wasn't totally phony.

10. He is progressive. We don't need to bash him. Just let him know
that the American people prefer kerry's plan over the Republican Lite plan.

11. Progressive traditionally means to the *left* of liberal.
By no means does Ed Schultz qualify.

Dennis Kucinich would be a progressive, perhaps. His use of the word belies his ignorance of its meaning.

12. then I guess I'm not a progresive either. I thought progressive
was liberal and was democrat.

But I'm not into labelling.

13. Some think progressive = liberal
I don't, but I think Ed does. He means "Democrat" when he says progressive, because he thinks it's more friendly, perhaps. Or that it's the opposite of conservative. More often he just says "lefties" and "righties".

The "opposite" of a Conservative is a Liberal. To the far right you have Radical Right, and to the far left you have Radical Left. Radicals generally condone violence of some kind or other, like blowing up abortion clinics or storming into nursing homes to "save" vegetative people.

I'd put Progressives a little to the left of Liberals, but not by too much.
