Eerie, Sinister Deja Vu
Think back to the beginning, when they pushed the war. They were ALL on board, defending it blindly. Hiding the truth. Slapping down critics. We still don't know, fact certain, what the exact true reason was for the invasion nor the reason ALL Republicans went to such great lengths to go along. But what we do know is that no one tries as hard as they did without ulterior, sinister motives.

Flash forward to today. The exact same situation. Pushing too hard to stay there. Blind devotion. No questions. Like automatons.

The million dollar questions:
1. Why don't they want the war to be over? Where/how are they profiting?
2. What kind of power does the administration have on ALL the Republicans that makes them follow without dissent???

If we could figure it out, maybe we could rid the world of these lunatics.

4. But surely, surely, there are at least a couple honest ones in the
bunch? I think the fact that every repig always votes exactly the same is extremely telling. This is totally unnatural. No group of its size, in any environment, agrees 100%. And the MSM wants to chastise the Dems for not all agreeing on the exact course of action in Iraq!

5. Gas pump meditation: "How are the Repubs profiting?"
Edited on Fri Jun-23-06 08:58 AM by SpiralHawk
I focus on this Zen koan every time I stand beside my truck pumping $3 a gallon gas.

How are oil men George AWOL Bush, Dick "Five Deferments" Cheney, and their Republicon Oil Cronies profiting from America's misery?
