So I was just watching Neil Cavuto
Was flipping channels, and happened upon Your World with Neil Cavuto on Fox News.
Here's how he framed the debates tonight.

Regarding the 7 Muslims from Florida who were arrested, he had a screen capture up that said "....Radical Muslim Men: Time to Start Profiling?"

Basically trying to make the case for racial profiling of these Muslims.

Then he had Rep. Harold Ford on to discuss the news media disclosing these secretive government programs (like the NASA data-mining). And he was pontificating on whether these news outlets should be punished for disclosing national security info.

So, profile the Black muslims and arrest journalists who report on secret govt programs.

That's "your world" with Neil Cavuto.

By the way, Harold Ford was rather weak in his responses, IMO.

2. "Well, Mr. Cavuto, why don't we just start profiling
ALL religious fanatics? I mean the radical clerics of all the different sects here in the United States, because it's obvious that fundamentalists of all stripes pose a grave danger to the future security of our country."

4. I've said it a million Xs before and I'll say it again
After the OKC bombing, I did not hear one person calling for us to start profiling white men with crewcuts like Tim McVeigh.

Now all of a sudden, we want to start profiling Muslims (read: people of color).

5. I f**king HATE it when they do the whole statement/question
thing. All they're doing is putting the statement they WANT in the public mind. Instead of "Radical Muslim Men: Time to Start Profiling?" their audienhce will think "time to start profiling muslims." Just like MSNBC when they used the headline "Dean Campaign in Downward Spiral?" to forward their own agenda.

Too bad so many Murkins are too stupid too see how they're being brainwashed.

6. I've been wondering how long it would take
the reich-wingers to get around to the Black Muslims. All they needed was a pretext, and now they've made one.

7. Except that I read they are not Muslim.
And the sister of one of them was on television saying he was Catholic. (That part I heard from a friend who watched television.)

8. I call him "the fathead"
How on Earth did he get his job? Probably his dad is the biggest shareholder of FAUX, or the CEO, or something.

His voice is froggy and he talks snotty and whiny. Plus, he is very unattractive and overweight, to boot. He has shaking jowls, for god's sake.

I would bet money he got his ass kicked on a daily basis in junior high. I can sense an unresolved feeling of a deep seated teen inferiority complex. Now he gets to feel superior with his own TV show, and can be whiny and snotty to everyone.

10. The republican party has now alienated every non-white person
in the US. They've slammed Mexicans, Blacks, Arabs, American Indians, as well as gays, the French, basically all immigrants, employees of Hollywood, environmentalists, "activist" judges, left-leaning musicians, public school teachers, and anyone who doesn't like Ann Coulter.
The '06 midterm elections should be a slam-dunk (ugh) for the democrats.
That is if the elections are fair. Calling Kofi Annon!!! - how 'bout some UN monitoring!
