1. Yeah, these urban homeless only wanted the $50,000
for a porsche. If only they could figure out how to apply for a driver's license.

This is very serious!

Either Bush and his gang are making a mountain out of a mole hole, which is serious or

the Home Land Defense has uncovered something that could have caused a lot of damage.

Which of the two is it?

I doubt these guys could have co-ordinated anything of the discussed magnitude.

Let the facts speak for themselves.

But I doubt the facts will be revealed, in order to "protect national security".

Enough people will buy into this in order to elevate Bush's ratings, if only momentarily.

5. "Hello FBI, we need to bust a terror cell right now. What do you got?"

"Hello, FBI, this is Karl Rove. We need to bust some terrorists pronto. What do you have for us?"

"How 'bout a group of teenagers in Paducah who were looking up suicide belts on the web and writing Jihadist slogans on the bathroom walls at their high school."

"Nah not scary enough."

"How 'bout a gas station owner from Brooklyn who went to Pakistan last year and has attending a mosque which once had a talk by Sheik Omar Abdul Rachman."

"Nah not scary enough."

"How 'bout a group of black guys in Miami who are members of some wierd cult who sell hair care products and try to get the local kids to join their karate classes--and tried to scam Al Queda out of money and equipment to bomb the Sears tower."

"Black guys! Cool. Send in the Swat Teams."

6. Sigh. Has anyone here ever been to Liberty city? I live an hour away.
The people are dismally poor and uneducated. This is crack house city. There are filthy old couches in people's front yards. Graffiti and security bars everywhere. Get the picture? Yes, I smell set-up.

I drove through Liberty City. Not a pretty picture. My boss (Austrian) was shocked at the conditions.

Hard to imagine a terrosist cell existing there, even today.

8. LOL! While it is funny in a way, it's also pathetic and
infuriating; the cons are betting on the fact that people don't give a shit about the homeless and are playing to cultural stereotypes about them. And they've ruined the lives of these people. Even if they're ultimately cleared, it will hang over them like a cloud for the rest of their lives. But what does BushCo care? They got what they wanted, to make it seem like they're actually doing something about them there "terra-ists!"

I really wish people could see right through this for the PR stunt it is.
