2. These were a bunch of homeless men
and their families reflect their background. W and Alberto need to develop some critical and analytical thinking skills.

The world is laughing at us again.

5. BTW, how would a homeless guy rent a truck
to carry the fertilizer if had the money to buy the fertilizer which homeless guys don't.

Wanna bet Gonzales screamed "Bush's numbers are down. Get me a terrorist cell!" And THIS was the most they could come up with?

6. Yup. That's exactly what happened.
Some Repuke clown on CNN kept asking, when...Bill? Press brought this up, "What, you don't think we should have arrested them? They wanted to blow up the Sears Tower."

I'm wondering why they weren't arrested months ago.

13. That's the sad part
So far, every 'terrorist cell' they busted since 9-11, which haven't been many, have all turned out to be nothing. That hasn't stopped the M$M from making a big deal about these cells, but when they get to court, they have no evidence and all the charge end up getting dropped. Unfortunately the public never gets to hear about that part of the story.

4. Hot air?
 Seems they were all talk, no action. These guys are and were no more dangerous than the local YMCA.

If hot air is a terrorist action this administration and 90% of the repug party are terrorists!

7. Maybe they're armed with cutting remarks, a caustic sense of humor,
and smart mouths! Maybe if a cowboy walks by them on the street, he will be terrorized to learn they are insulting him right out loud!

12. Ann Coulter wants to blow up places
and kill lots of people too. Why not plant an FBI agent with her? Why not have a attorney general's office news conference about her?

14. Batiste was known to hate President George W Bush and the war in Iraq.
Bizarre cult of Sears Tower ‘plotter’
PAUL THOMPSON, MIAMI, AND SARAH BAXTER, WASHINGTON

THE ringleader of the seven men accused of plotting to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago was a “Moses-like figure” who carried a crooked cane and wore a cape as he sought to recruit followers to a religious cult called the Seas of David.
Narseal Batiste, 32, a martial arts enthusiast, led his oddball group of what he called “soldiers” seeking to wage a “full ground war” against America, according to charges brought last week.

Alberto Gonzales, the US attorney-general, claimed the arrested men, five from the US and two from Haiti, were inspired by a “violent jihadist message”. Dick Cheney, the vice-president, called the group a “very real threat”.

Batiste was known to hate President George W Bush and the war in Iraq. Neighbours would see his followers practising martial arts but paid little attention to them. “It seemed like a military boot camp,” said one. Batiste’s wife Minerva said yesterday: “I believe my husband is innocent of all charges.”

This is an interesting article from the Sunday Times of London. "Batiste was known to hate President George W Bush and the war in Iraq" is the most frightening statement in this article. How soon before we are rounded up and declared terrorist because of our known hatred of * and the war in Iraq?
