Will the Sunnis & Shiites & other factions ever stop killing each other?

Is it realistic for America to think that it can militarily restore order to Iraq?

The place looks like a slaughterhouse to me, and our fighting troops are merely additional targets for the infighting groups.

How long have they been killing each other and why? Can America restore order there?

Can we fix what Bush has failed to?

2. been doing this for thousands of years, way before Islam became their

excuse for doing so. they will be doing this in 2 thousand years unless the earth wises up and gets rid of humans once and for all.

evidently the hammurabi code did not have the desired effect, nor did the torah, or the bible (no surprise there), or the koran (no surprise there either).

into smaller countries, then they will stop killing each other.

4. Or when the Civil War goes full speed

and the Mahdi Army is called out to sweep through the Sunni Triangle.

Then the surviving Sunnis will be in Syrian refugee camps and the fighting will stop for a little while.
