Feingold says cannot tell difference between plans by himself and Casey
The US Senate, with the majority of Democrats also, voted against the Kerry-Feingold resolution to set a timetable for withdrawing American troops. Lo and behold! Today there is a story that General Casey and the White House want to set a "timetable" for withdrawing our troops. So, how do the Democrats and Republicans in the Senate feel about this "timetable"? They look like friggin' fools.

3. The only reason Bush would say anything about timetables is because
Someone else is talking about Timetables. It would not be brought up otherwise, since their most fundamental objective, the Oil, requires that "we" stay in Iraq forever.

5. I wonder if the WH was blindsided by the Casey article in NYT.
Otherwise, it means that they sat back and let the whole GOP congress go on record
that we were staying forever. All the while, the WH knew Casey was getting ready to start pulling out.

What a waste of time in the House and Senate... meanwhile, our domestic policy is in the ditch.
