"Honor" is a serious word. There are individual troops doing the best they can to uphold the standard of honor while being trapped there, but on the whole, there's nothing honorable about fighting arson with gasoline.

There is no honorable reason to illegally occupy a sovereign nation for their oil. TC

17. I won't edit it because there are some people including myself...
...who falsely believed before we invaded that Iraq had some sort of WMDs. I did not however think whatever they had could possibly be worth going to war over. I can see how others though with less information could have been frightened enough to think Iraq was a threat to America and I will not belittle them for that. My mother for instance was really scared of the drones of death. Take into account she is about 80 years old. Don

30. since you KNOW that the reasons given were false, then you were in
error in posing the question as you did, regardless of what you think others still believe.

I am acknowledging that many Americans actually believed at one time that Iraq was a threat. Not because it was a threat. Rather because of the way Bush and his minions along with the help of the media were able to portray and convince the majority of Americans that Iraq was a threat using BS propaganda that we all now know were lies. I am not going to belittle those who were sincerely concerned for our country and their families safety during that period for their errors in judgment. I hold Bush and his minions responsible. Don

20. Killing for honor is an obscenity.
Not to mention that it's also a lie. Much like the "honor" killings of women in various places all over the world. Honor is egomania with a "repectable" face.

25. Read it again. For REASONS that are honorable
For instance defending ones country from attack is normally considered honorable. This has nothing to do with honor killings. Don
