3. Hedgecock.
When I actually listened to Limbaugh (he finally got so boring I wasn't even getting mad anymore), once Roger Hedgecock subbed for him. He referred to Senator Tom Daschle as "Dasch-hole" (to sound like "asshole" I guess) repeatedly and said "I'm sorry, I have an accent so it's hard to pronounce." Hardy har har.

So I wrote and e-mail to Limbaugh and said that "maybe someone with a name like Hedge-COCK shouldn't be making fun of someone's name."

4. HedgeCOCK is...
...a POS.

He knew J. David Dominelli and Nancy Hoover very well, they contributed to his Mayoral campaign here in San Diego, but when their Ponzi scheme was revealed then HedgeKOOK all of the sudden didn't know them very well.
Hummm....?

He is a RW asshole with a San Diego show for years.
He has brainwashed many.
He is a dangerous man who puts lies and filth out over the public airwaves.

He rails against our legal system (lawyers) yet he is one.
He rails against the appeals process yet used it in his trial from above mentioned.

He fits right in the RW hate talk-radio realm.

5. How did he get elected mayor?
I figure if he can manage that he can inherit the Giant Limbaugh Oxycontin Stool of Skullduggery, no problemo.

7. Here:
In 1985 he was forced from office after being convicted on one count of conspiracy and 12 counts of perjury involving improper campaign contributions. Hedgecock failed to report over $350,000 in illegal contributions from Nancy Hoover, David Dominelli, and the J. David Company. The perjury charges were later overturned on a technicality, and, under a deal with prosecutors, Hedgecock pleaded guilty to misdemeanor money-laundering.

8. Thanks
That helps.

I should have simply assumed he was a criminal. With today's Republicans, it's a safe bet.

10. also, the field he was running against was not exactly progressive
the democrat in the race was worse than hedgecock as far as being in the developer's pockets. it was a no win situation for the voters. i actually for hedgecock - the one and only time in my life i've voted for a republican. of course hewas then indicted, so it was pretty much a wash... but mo o'connor was no great shakes either. hedgecock had been what seemed like a fairly forthright guy in a pretty crooked local scene. and the most liberal pol on the scene was an idiot. he actually opposed the 911 emergency phone system(for fire and police) because his phone didn't have an eleven on it.i swear i'm not making it up. but hedgecock is no idiot - i don't know if he actually believes the spew he espouses on his radio show, but he's making a ton of money in heavy RW san diego.

9. This just in
From a friend who recently "toured" the studio he operates out of.
Keep in mind that he DOES NOT broadcast from KLSD (progressive talk) but they are housed in the same Clear Channel building.

-----

You may find this interesting and can share. I was at KLSD 2 weeks ago for some business. Took a tour and got to see Roger's office. I asked if I could photograph it but they wouldn't let me. So I will tell you.

Picture this:

the door has a big white cross on it
lots of bible quotes and other paper sticky things
it looked like a shrine of some kind

We all agreed that it was very eerie and creepy.

11. That's very similar to what KPOJ in Portland has
They are in the same building with KEX, both owned by Clear Channel.

KEX = El Drugbo, "Dr." Laura, Matt Drudge

KPOJ = Thom Hartmann (in studio), Franken, Randi, Malloy

14. A torturous symbol...
...for a twisted mind.

The crucifix is just plain evil in my view.
It symbolizes everything wrong about humans.
