MN-Sen: Kennedy (R) scrubs website of all references to Bush
MN-Sen: Kennedy (R) scrubs website of all references to Bush

Ha ha, didn't Mark Kennedy get the memo that Bush is enjoying a "bump"? Because he has gone through his Congressional site and purged all references to Bush from it. Blogger MN points out the scrubbing process:

First of all, replace all pictures of Bush with smiling children. Everyone loves children.

Secondly, bills magically "become" law, rather than get signed by Bush:

"An important provision from the first bill he introduced as a member of Congress, providing grant money for rural ambulance services, was signed into law by President Bush." Now compare that to the new version, which reads, "In fact, a grant program for rural ambulance services in the first bill he introduced in Congress became law."

9. As a matter of fact...
...this is what came to mind immediately...

Now, I'd trust her more on national security over anyone in the WH!
We would achieve an entirely new level of respect;)

5. It is serious - Mark Kennedy (R) really did scrub his website of *...
Edited on Tue Jun-27-06 08:33 AM by IndyOp

Here is the original blog:
http://www.mnpublius.com/2006/06/makeover_marks_website_preside.php

Step 3) Revise the record:

Supported the President's Plan to create jobs and boost the economy, including accelerating the phase-in of the 2001 tax relief and ending the unfair double-taxation of dividends.

But, now he's actually against the President, instead of supporting him...
Successfully worked to repeal the Bush Administration's steel tariffs, which killed jobs and hurt local manufacturers.

Amongst all the scrubbing, only one thing really matters to Minnesotans, that Mark Kennedy: ...has long been considered a Bush loyalist with a better-than-95-percent record of voting with the president.

Kennedy was bought and sold by Texas Republicans a long time ago, and the voters of this state are much smarter than Mark gives them credit for - they can see right through this kind of whitewashing.

2. "Makeover Mark" -- I love it!
Can't wait to see Kennedy crash and burn. I hope this little makeover gets some attention in our local newspapers!

3. Hilarious !
It was just 3 weeks ago, here in downtown MN I protest outside a fundraiser for Rep Mark Kennedy.
The guest was LAURA BUSH !!!!!! (yeah, I'd really say he is far removed from Bush).
I think they only made 350,000. There Republicans were so sad looking going in. They sure didn't look like people who had 1000.00 to waste. They even brought their son's in Cub Scout uniforms.
Flip Flop Flip Flop Flip Flop

Bachman is a nut. I can't imagine people voting for her, from any party. She is the woman who hides from gay's.. has been know to run from a woman's bathroom screaming "help me help me, they are trying to trap me!!!".. when some women came in to the bathroom and she thought they were lesbians..
It was at a townhall meeting in which some "lesbians" were there to ask about her anti-gay bill.

Yes, Mrs. Anti Gay herself, Michelle Bachman. had a Lesbian's Father raise money for her.
Yes, we had the VP here raising money for Bachman out at some Billionaire's house on the Lake.
But there was a group out on a Pontoon to Protest them.. and two veterans rowed too close to the Cheney protest zone and were arrested. They didn't say how much money was raised.

7. Like the cockroaches they are, they all scurry when the lights come on.
A visit from the exterminator in November should take care of them for good.

My apologies to all cockroaches for being used as a comparison.
