WH tree depicted on the $20 bill ... is GONE!

Combination photograph shows back of U.S. $20 bill showing The White House with the 140-yr old Elm tree and workers at the White House clearing the fallen tree, which was knocked down by heavy winds in a storm in the Washington area overnight, June 26 2006. (Larry Downing - L/Reuters)

5. Its Not The Same Tree - Count The Windows
In the picture of the front of the White House the stump is at the second window to the right. On the back of the $20 the tree is so far to the right that only the left side branches even overlap the building.

Not the same tree.

10. how'd they get it off the 20's so fast?
20's aren't really printed, they're actually like little TV screens and they just changed the show?that means Bush could turn our 20's into ones whenever he wants. That's messed up,man.

13. Why isn't Robertson speaking of God's displeasure?
A recordbreaking storm slams into the District of Columbia causing extensive wind damange and widespread flooding, all causing on the day that the Flag Burning Amendment is put on the front burner ahead of investigating the Junta's many lies. Why aren't the Talibangelicals shouting about how God has shown His righteous wrath at the hypocricy and immorality in Washington DC?

14. It is a sign of an old tree with a rotten core and high winds...
And saturated ground...trees fall over everyday.

Yes it is sad. But They will plant a new tree.
