My response to DSCC

Dear DSCC:

While I agree that electing a Democratic majority in the Senate is an absolute necessity if we want to reverse the destruction wrought by the Bush Administration, I have no intention of donating to organizations such as yours. I make political donations only to specific individuals with proven records of speaking out against the crimes of this administration. Too many Democrats are willing to claim political affiliation with the so-called "opposition party" while providing no opposition whatsoever. I will not donate blindly to an organization that may end up contributing my hard-earned dollars to someone like Senator Joe Lieberman, who is a Democrat in name only. My political donations are reserved for those Democrats who behave like Democrats, by speaking out and voting against the lunacy perpetrated by this administration. Thus far, this number is depressingly small, but, as ever, I hope it will grow.
