Likewise, congress should be able to declare we are NOT at war.
B) Ammendment to affirm Roe vs Wade.

III) ...

1. No Presidential Signing Statements...
Either sign or veto.

Allow recall of elected officials: senators, representatives, and presidents

5. 70 Senate votes to confirm a federal judge.
Then we'll have moderate judges without the "nuclear option" garbage.

10. I like that one, I think.... , at this moment I can't think of anything
that might dissuade me from wanting that one as an amendment.

9. Amendment to make single care payer free
to all Americans.

I'm sick and tired of paying through the nose to the insurance companies.

Amendment to ban lobbyists permanently and force senators/congresspeople listen to their own constitutents instead of lobbyists.

11. One that would end a lot of Congressional sneakiness:
A provision like the one that's in many state constitutions, requiring that all bills deal with only one subject. In other words, if you're writing a bill for funding the national parks, you can't tack on an amendment giving your biggest campaign contributor a whopping tax break or an amendment establishing the National Traditional Family Foundation.

This type of thing goes on all the time, and it leaves the opponents in a tough position: either pass the bill with the distasteful amendments or have the other party tell the voters, "Congressman X voted against funding the national parks."

An amazing amount of horrific stuff gets passed under the radar in this way.
