Oooh! Oooh! Springsteen slams Soledad!!!!
Edited on Tue Jun-27-06 10:47 PM by speedoo
Colbert just showed a clip of an interview of Bruce by that dope Soledad O'Brien. She asks him a stupid question.... is it not inappropriate for him, as an entertainer, to take and publicize political positions. After all, since the Dixie Chicks were wrong isn't he?

Bruce laughs in her face and says something like.. "It's ridiculous for, present company INCLUDED (eg Soledad) to yak and yak on cable TV their political views, and you ask about ME!!??"

(sorry if this has already been posted.)

dazed by her paycheck, and confused as to what journalism is.

3. The ONLY thing wrong with that interview
was that the Boss was mighty giggly.

5. I did not see the whole interview, but I thought his laughing at her...
was entirely appropriate.

9. To me, he sounded as though he was under the influence of
some kind of substance. But, the things he said were good, cogent remarks.

11. He called her an idiot! From the transcript!

SPRINGSTEEN: If you turned on to -- present company included -- the idiots rambling on, on cable television on any given night of the week. You are saying the musicians shouldn't speak up? You know, it's insane. You know, it's funny.

12. If a bug exterminator from Sugar Land Texas can speak his mind on politics
I should think a plumber, a carpenter, a teacher, a cop, and even an entertainer should enjoy the same freedom of expression.

13. In an earlier interview on the same topic....
He asked why Ann Coulter can speak her mind, but not a musician.
Who the Hell is Coulter, but an entertainer?
