I just recieved in the mail a very pointed invitation to a dinner where an investment partnership LLC (limited liability corporation) is invinting ppl to a seminar and asking if you would want to know if your investment (and I quote)if your stock market investment was: Pornography related
Abortion related
Anti-Family Related

Can you fuckin believe it?

1. I am not sure, but I expect that it is legal...
I've worked with investment companies that let me know if my investment is pro-labor, pro-environment...

So, I think it is within bounds for them to research companies and make recommendations about companies that match 'investor's values' -- no matter how screwed up those values may be.
