What Actor Would You Cast As Bush In The Movie Of His Life?
Keeping in mind that the Chimp that played Bonzo is probably long dead...

What about Cheney?

Keeping in mind that Elmer Fudd is just a cartoon Character...

this is the correct answer. Will Ferral (or however you spell it) captures the inner essence of W. If you doubt it see his role in Night at the Roxbury.

58. Liberalnurse! I thought the same.
He's perfect. All puffed up with self importance while harboring all kinds of vendettas and petty grievances. He can't speak the truth - only doubletalk. One moment he's cringing and kowtowing and the next he's pompous and ranting.
And mostly, like Bush, he's scared. And that's what makes him dangerous.
Good call, Liberalnurse.

Edited on Wed Jun-28-06 01:48 PM by SteppingRazor
For Bush... hmmm... y'know, I really think he ought to play himself. No one else could master the subtle nuances of the character.

On edit: At the end, when the administration goes down (I hope, I hope), Robinson could clutch his chest in pain and grimmace "Mother of Mercy! Is this the end oof Cheney?!" It'd be classic

He was great in "That's my Bush"

and though he looked like young GWB when he was young (see The Last Picture Show) he has aged to look a whole LOT more like him. It's uncanny to me.

112. uncanny -- and kind of ironic ...
A friend of mine who lived near Santa Barbara (and was on various committees in the local Democratic party) says that Bottoms's whole family are big-time Dems. So I cut him a lot of slack when he took the Bush role in that tacky "DC 9/11" movie ... not his fault that the script and direction were preposterous ... at least he got some money to help put his kids through college!

has experience at the same type of sniveling, spoiled coward who can't live up to daddy that Bush is. They could use the same father, too, except the actor would have to switch from Lucius to a character who can't tell the truth and can't do anything right.

60. For Bush
Will Patton. He was in a movie called "Remember The Titans". For those who saw the movie, he's the assistant football coach with the little girl who was a football fanatic -- he was the one who didn't get the promotion because the school hired Denzel Washington instead.

The guy is a dead ringer for Bush.

111. apparently, he does an absolutely killer imitation of Bush ...
It was something he did to irk his wife, until she ratted him out to John Sayles (who promptly cast him as the Dubyaesque "Dickie Pilager" in "Silver City").

115. Let's do it as a farce, like "Springtime for Hitler"
We'll call it "Springtime for Bushler."

Jack Black can play Bush.

Kenneth Mars can play Cheney. As Franz Liebchen in the original "The Producers," Mars is experienced in playing Nazis.

Whoopi Goldberg can be Condi, Shelley Long might make a cute Pickles, and Ellen DeGeneres will be wonderful as Mary Cheney.

After eight years of the REAL Bush administration, we'll all be ready for a good laugh.
