he wants callers to challenge him on why the media are being attacked for being so anti-Bush, especially the NYT

I told the screener that I'm going to pretend to be a Glenn Beck supporter.

he's been playing a bunch of clips from idiots like Jim Pinkerton, who apparently quoted a satirical piece, maybe by Matt Taibbi, saying that liberals HATE the troops

stuff like that

I think he'd have gotten the point


I've called in before with stuff

made them howl one time...they bleeped my use of the word "epileptic" to refer to either Jeff Gannon or Lieberman (it was a tie-in to a bit they did with a previous comedian-guest)

they did the "you've been maJORitized" thing after I said it, followed by the Jewish ram's horn

I have it on tape someplace...one of my proudest moments

playing clip of Bush quote: "we've established a foreign terrorist tracking center," which ALERTED the terrorists that they were tracking their finances

the only thing he DIDN'T tell them was that they're doing it without using warrants

pretty funny

Sam calling ONeill a TRAITOR

"did they know ONeill was causing the deaths of Americans" when he said those things?

7. I can't decide between him and Stephanie Miller...
best combination of humor/info

he's not as funny all the time...he doesn't try to be....like she is, but he's better informed, and more....forensic....her calls are just foils

in the old, 'who do you like/dislike' on AAR, he gets my vote for best overall.

15. SWIFT has been around for more than 20 years
I used to work for a major US bank in wire transfer operations, and SWIFT was the fastest and most secure way to move money internationally. I thought about SWIFT after 9-11 and assumed that they would be cooperating with the US to determine if there was funding for terrorist operations moving through the network. Anyone who knows anything about international banking operations would assume the same thing. That's why the Bush administration's indignation is almost laughable.

the UN has been talking about SWIFT and other financial orgs helping to track terrorists since 2001....that's right, 2001

AND, Sam said the ONLY new information in that NYT article is that B* is ILLEGALLY monitoring thousands (millions?) of transactions because he's not using the warrants called for by LAW!

made my day

why, oh WHY can't some TV show get Sam on against Coulter or the even more heinous Melanie Morgan?
