RE: SSGT Christian Bagge jogs with Bush...

I don't care if it's viewed as a shameless photo op for Bush. I don't know nor do I care if SSGT Bragg is a dyed-in-the-wool Republican. I don't care about the babblings of some freeper, and this isn't a post about the Iraq war. When you have a wounded vet, all bets are off.

This guy deserves the chance to jog with anyone he wants to. I am amazed that he has that much resilience and he is to be applauded. Like it or not, he gave the penulitmate sacrifice in service of his country.

Forget the pitiful excuse for a leader jogging next to him. I hope on some level Bush knows he is ultimately responsible for this man's loss.

I wish this man success in all his endeavors.

2. Just my personal view
"I don't know nor do I care if SSGT Bragg is a dyed-in-the-wool Republican."

It's Bagge not Bragg, and his political leanings are not important, as you say.

"I hope on some level Bush knows he is ultimately responsible for this man's loss."

If you hope for this, then I would say that you're the eternal optimist, this was a photo op for Bush and nothing more. Bush feels no responsibility for any of the dead or the wounded it's as simple as that.

"When you have a wounded vet, all bets are off."

I disagree, just because he's wounded doesn't mean he can't be criticized. For my part I see no reason to attack the man, if this is truly his dream then so be it.

"I wish this man success in all his endeavors."

As do we all.

3. If he supports bush,
I hope he gets everything that bush has coming to him.

He's already lost his legs, maybe he can help more kids lose theirs as well.
