Skeleton closet time for Peter King?
This guy is seriously deranged

demento

my guess is he's bi-polar, at the very least

there HAS to be something good to get on him

please

first thing: what about the story that some reporters went to his house and found illegal aliens doing yardwork during his recent incarnation as guardian of the national borders

this guy REALLY needs to have his taint waxed

1. You can tell just by looking at the guy that he has LOTS of skeletons
Really. Some people are just seriously creepy, and their over-the-top outrage and righteous indignation always seems to come across as self-serving. Like Swaggart...he just LOOKED like a hooker-bangin' sleazeball conman, and sho'nuff, he was caught with his trousers 'round his knees with a prostitute, while damning everyone else to hell.

I think King is of the same mold. He oooooozes sleaze.

3. aaaaa haaaaa haaaaa
Washington DC - (Associated Mess): The House of Representatives Homeland Insecurity Committee chairman Peter King has reacted badly to US press reports that a recent make-over by Hollywood stylists credited with Teri Hatcher's astonishing image upgrade has made him look a fool even by fellow Skull 'N' Bonesmen's standards.

Lashing out at New York Times story that the CIA has been secretly monitoring all the corrupt bank account transactions of the Bush Dynasty and of other Republican Bonesmen for the last forty years, King vehemently denied reports that spooks had busted him by bugging his Hatcher-style hair-piece using the latest controversial Sat-Nav technology implanted into his spectacles.

In a knee-jerk reaction exceeding even standard Republican congenital stupidity, King then called on President Bush to avenge the paper's slurs on Bonesmen's dynastic forefathers by charging the reporters, editor and publisher with treason.

5. Why he 's so loyal to the GOP is beyond me. They passed him over
to run Rick Lazio against Hillary for senator in 2000.

When there was talk of Rudy G. dropping out of the race, King seemed to be the most likely candidate. At least that's what he thought.

GO!

Hypocrite? of course? Liar? Indubitably

http://kingwatch.blogspot.com/

On Scarborough County, King was challenged to defend the national security breach and this is the exchange;
"SCARBOROUGH: If I were a Democratic senator, what I would say was, the last thing you want to do, because you keep talking about the fact we are at a time of war.

KING: Right.

SCARBOROUGH: The last thing you want to do at a time of war is reveal the identity of undercover CIA agents.

KING: No.
Joe Wilson, she recommended—his wife recommended him for this. He said the vice president recommended him. To me, she took it off the table. Once she allowed him to go ahead and say that, write his op-ed in “The New York Times,” to have Tim Russert give him a full hour on “Meet the Press,” saying that he was sent there as a representative of the vice president, when she knew, she knew herself that she was the one that recommended him for it, she allowed that lie to go forward involving the vice president of the United States, the president of the United States, then to me she should be the last one in the world who has any right to complain."

So it is perfectly fine to expose an undercover CIA agent working on WMD's to get retribution on her husband?

Oh, and King is lying through his teeth (as usual) because Wilson never said the VP sent him.

"There is a war going on. This puts American lives at risk and they did it for no good reason."
Peter King regarding the NYTimes story on Bush policy of financial snooping quoted in Newsday 6/26/06

"No, in fact, I think Karl Rove should get a medal, Joe. I really mean that."
Peter King regarding undercover CIA agent Valerie Plames name being exposed speaking on Scarborough Country 7/12/05

10. the only puke congressman on LI. We need to find a better replacement
from Newsday
Rep. Peter King (R-Seaford) presents something of a conundrum. On almost every issue, he and this editorial page couldn't disagree more, and yet he has garnered high marks here for his work in Washington. He's a stand-up guy who isn't shy about tangling with the powerful, even those in his own party.

(snp)
King's moxie and unfailing humor are laudable, but there's a problem: He's just wrong on too many big issues.

He championed punitive immigration reform that would fence off much of the nation's border with Mexico and make felons of 12 million undocumented immigrants. That's unworkable and too narrowly focused to solve the problem. He didn't reject a single tax cut in two years, despite a costly war, crippling deficits, and looming shortfalls in Medicare and Social Security. And he's too sanguine about the White House's excesses in privacy-shredding domestic spying.

As the lone Republican in Congress from Long Island, King has become a national figure and prime-time player who delivers for the region and his district. But too often, where he would lead is not where the nation should go.

Peter King is Just a Liar

In today's Newsday in the story about Dave Denenbergs announcement that he is running for congress, there was this gem:
"Before he goes to sleep every night, Peter King thanks God that George Bush is president," Denenberg said, referring to a sentence King wrote in a recent letter.
"Ask him if he thanks God when he fills up his gas tank."

In an interview, King, a Republican, said his letter -- sent to a Democratic constituent who had criticized the congressman's support of Bush -- merely quoted former Democratic New York City Mayor Ed Koch's words to the same effect. In 2003, King attributed the same statement to Koch during an episode of the MSNBC talk show "Scarborough Country."

So, King "merely quoted" Koch?
No, he didn't just "merely quote," he agreed with Koch.
First, a Newsday article goes unchallenged on Kings own website "...and even once declared in a letter to a constituent: "I thank God every night that George Bush is our President. You should do the same."
And the FULL quote from the letter King sent is "Like Ed Koch I thank God every night that he is our President. You should do the same."

King isn't just quoting Koch, he agrees Kochs' thanks to god for Bush.
Why is King running away from his own words?
What is he afraid of?
King is tied to Bush no matter how he spins it.

King went on to say in the article "I've supported strongly on the war against terrorism, but I've disagreed with him on issues like the Dubai ports and immigration... The voters know I'm independent and they'll elect me on my record."

Will a rooster crow if King denies Bush one more time?
