HOLY CRAP! Did anyone just see that "His Majesty" ad on CNN?
WTF was that?????? I cant even pronounce, let alone SPELL, the name of the "His Majesty" the ad was for. At first I thought it was a CNN news story, but no banners across the bottom. Then I thought it was about Kim Jong Il, but that couldn't be. My god, that was weird.

But it does beg the question...when will Bush do a similar ad?

5. I really thought it was Kim Jung Il at first
It featured lots of grainy seventies-looking footage of the King being bowed to by his subject, riding in parades, etc, with a calm voice-over explaining his history and all the wonderful things the glorious leader has done for his people. It was almost surreal!

3. I saw that! WTF?! It was advertising a celebration of some king's 60th
anniversary of his ascension to the throne. I didn't see who or where... I was too busy being stunned.

4. Probably the King of Thailand
I think his name is Bhumiphol, but not sure of the spelling.

6. That's who it was about
He's a very beloved leader. I guess it's just a shock to us to see a country adore its leader.
