Is there any way to see how well-oiled winger reflexes are before Nov.?

Clearly, Rove is counting on their having the same Pavlovian response to the usual redmeat stimuli (flags, queers, troops, and God). But is it really going to work again this time? Is immigration going to muck it all up? Or corruption?

I have no great faith that the masses who are clearly disgusted with Bushism and Republicanism, will get off their asses and vote. But can Rove really count on the wingers to maintain their lack of self-regard for being handed the same bullshit over and over and over with no hope of any of it becoming the law of the land? Can he count on their being as stoooooopid as he thinks they are? Is there a chance that they might actually wise up and decide to sit this one out?
