Have the conservatives turned on Bush?
I found this in my email today from a very conservative Internet group, Conservative Alerts:

As a fellow conservative I am sure you will agree that these past five years have been troubling for the country.

-- George Bush and the Republican Congress have sat on their hands while illegal immigrants stream across the border daily.
-- Government spending is at an all time high and growing twice as fast under George Bush than during Bill Clinton's administration.

-- Record government deficits have put our country in a precarious situation with foreign governments financing our debt.

-- Good jobs and economic opportunities for our children, grandchildren and all our fellow Americans are rapidly disappearing.

-- We are engaged in a war in Iraq that had dubious beginnings and no foreseeable end.

Wouldn't you like to help push the country back to conservative ideas? As a conservative, you're already uniquely qualified.
With your Charter Subscription to The American Conservative, you'll join the company of writers and fellow-subscribers, who aren't afraid to look at every fact and idea eyeball-to-eyeball.

8. No, this is from a Republican and sent over one of the most
conservative email bulletins that I get. That's what I find so interesting: Even the conservatives have finally realized that Bushbots are NOT conservative: They are simply sociopaths.

2. My mom gets emails from an offshore investment group that is very
conservative and in the last couple years started writing anti-Bush administration articles pointing out that they are FAR from conservative.

5. not in Utah! still the most repuke state in the Nation, then WY, & Idaho
wonder what it will take for these Mormons to understand what is happening to our Country. Oh, that's right, they only care about their narrow religion and will gladly use our constitution and the ignorance of the masses to achieve what they want, no matter the consequences.....IMHO, of course.
