For the media and the freeptards. I hope not. But I know that it it will.

2. Probably so, but not for me

In fact my Fourth isn't going to be much at all. It comes in the middle of the week, I've got to work the next day, and frankly I'm not terribly proud of our country right now, certainly not in the mood to celebrate the Fourth.

I'll probably spend a quiet day, unplugged from the rest of the world, puttering around the garden, orchard and house. Not glamorous, but it will be relaxing and fun.

3. My guess is yes

In our area Memorial Day went by without much mention of our soldiers and their sacrifices. We went to a service at our sailing club and after mentioning the club members who had died since last year they failed to take note of the soldiers who had lost their lives in our name. It made me physically ill. My guess is the fourth will pass without much mention as well. We will have our own service out on the water. Peace, Kim
