1. I wish they would do something about it
I really can't see why nothing can be done now, for the repugs who know they will be voted out,
what do they have to lose? They must know that he is hurting America both here and abroad.

2. AMEN - quit talking about it and DO SOMETHING!
I'm amazed that nothing - still - is happening! This lack of movement is a reflection on EVERY member of Congress. None of them are doing their jobs, an important element of which is to oversee the activities of the Executive Branch.

3. the Supreme Court Decision should be a wake up call
The Supreme Court is saying that these prisoners must be treated according the the US Military
Code and the Geneva Convention, we have rules against torture, are we going to sit back and
allow it to continue.

6. the thing that really irritates me is they know more that we do
Page 137 of Armed Madhouse by Greg Palast

"I fixed the election in Florida for George Bush," as George Bush's lawyer told an audience of
Russian oil industry oligarchs, bragging about his post-election legal work in 2000. That was
reported to me by my somewhat astonished colleague at BBC television in Moscow."

5. I hope you're right, but keep in mind The Decider doesn't like
to be told what to do. Except by Cheney. And Rove.

The Constitution is just a G*d damned piece of paper to him.

I really, really do hope you're right, and this SCOTUS decision will be the missing link that forces some action.

7. he's not the decider
The deciders are who put him in power against the wishes of the American people, if he feels
that they have no authority; then he is saying that they had no right to put him in the position
of the presidency. Hey we understand, he doesn't even have to clean up; just call the moving vans and let President Gore know.
