ironic thing with my boss today, re: SCOTUS decision.

my thinks of himself as an democrat, but he's registered republican, and argues both sides (I can't figure it out, really).
anywho, today, we were discussing the SCOTUS decisions with another coworker.
I suggested that Bush would probably simply ignore the supreme court and do as he always did.
The coworker said, but they would stop him.
I said, who would? you can't indict a standing president, you can only impeach him, and the congress won't do that. I then went on to say that Bush has eliminated checks and balances and its becoming a facsist dicatorship, to which my boss exclaimed "That's ridiculous! there is no facsism."
as the discussion progressed, when the boss speculated on who would actually reign in Bush for war crimes, He says "If no one else would, I would"
Then he thinks about it and looks around and says "We better be careful saying this stuff or they'll come take us away".

and I laughed and said, "No facsism, eh? then why are you afraid?"

sheepishly, he finally admitted I had him.
