Here is a guy with biiiig control and anger issues, whose relationship with his teenage children is highly adversarial. He believes that his kids' principal goal is to destroy his life, so he is making damn sure he destroys theirs first. I can't imagine this is a family that will be regularly gathering for Christmas dinner after the kids have left home. So he's faced with clear evidence that anger, control and intolerance destroy relationships, yet his solution is to spread more of the same wherever he can.

In addition, the writer seems hooked on violent homoeroticism (cutting off 'privates' - I presume he means penises - and stuffing them in mouths) and mutilation (slicing arms and legs - I wonder if one of his kids has taken to self-mutilation).

Without realizing it, he is a poster-boy for the kinds of pathologies that overrestrictive, intolerant and abusive parenting can cause.

That's even stranger. From the tenor of the rant I was sure it was a man. Weird.

I'm still reeling from the discovery that the poster was a woman. The language was so male in its imagery and violence. I wonder if that's the source of her anger: She was born the wrong gender.
