Nightline (ABC) says W suffers a major blow today
W's crushed to find out he's not really King George.

He must give some civil rights to those detained without charges or a hearing date. You think?

1. King George hasn't been crushed enough!
The SCOTUS did a small slap, but they need to do a major smackdown!

3. Yep. These people are humans regardless of their race or politics
I'll never forget how disgusted I was when Hannity said we should tear out the fingernails of Hussein and the Iraqis "to make them talk".

I'm more repulsed today than I was then. Faux News is W's mouthpiece and the thought that they could be so inhumane to others without even a trial sickened me.

And this comes from the so called Christians of the right wing?

13. Oh my God! the press-whores were apoplectic all day
the psy-ops freaks who control CNNI cut away from Snowjobs' press briefing as fast as possible when hard questions started being asked...'Halal Go-Rani's head almost spun off her shoulders as they 'suddenly'...now returned us to regular programming...some canned tape of a woman digging in the dirt in Africa...nothing to see here...move along..."quick, someone pull out a BinLaden tape!"
...and then we were back on track, BinLaden, Terror terra terra boo!
...all because someone said 'no' to the God-king

--a very special moment of sudden panic in TV/psyops history.

--and the other blowhard host Clancy or something was all like...but this is an election year...oh my god! this will fuck up everthing...lol

*anyway, it's nice to see that 'fuck you up the ass' Scalia and 'pubic hair on my coke-can' Thomas, stayed loyal to their master.

6. Don't Get it
It took several years and the SCOTUS to get Dumbass to give those people some rights? I mean, this should be common sense. What's the SCOTUS been doing for the past years? Playing "Heads and shoulders, knees and toes"?

7. Major blow?
NPR's "All Things Considered" said the same thing today, too. Why the victimization of *? Why not frame it as a victory for We The People? Oh, I forgot. Its 2006 and we're under the thumb of the BFEE.

10. Did you catch the reporter's verbal flub
at the end of the report? He started to use the word "cages" to describe where the "detainees" (I hate that word) are kept and then corrected himself and said "cells." And he was reporting from Gitmo - where the "cages" er, make that "cells" must have left quite an impression.
