Why is W's Greatest Failure, Capturing Osama, never mentioned?
Edited on Fri Jun-30-06 05:03 AM by Philosoraptor
Our Democratic leaders should be all over this, relentlessly, night and day, like the republicans would've surely done had it been Clinton's failure.

After all, Osama supposedly attacked us, now 5 whole years later, he sits back lazily and makes taunting video tapes proving he's still a free terrorist, out there threatening the world.

Why is this glaring failure almost never mentioned?

2. Because the librul media is afraid to do it's fucking job
If they report the facts the bu$h regime and Congress will threaten them and condemn them for aiding and abetting the terrorist.

This country has fallen into a state of fascism.

3. The FBI said that there is no proof that
OBL was involved with the 911 Attack. Busholini has said that OBL was responsible and Wanted Dead or Alive. You can bet it's Dead because if captured proof of his involvement may not be proven.

5. His GREATEST FAILURE was LETTING *9-11* HAPPEN in the 1st place.
Clueless bastard. And the Democrats all just pretend that "the world is different" because OBVIOUSLY no one has ever hijacked planes before, and just because our intelligence agencies said it was going to happen was NO REASON to believe them.

The failure of imagination in this administration is staggering, and it is destroying our country. Sensible people "plan for the worst, and hope for the best" -- where the hell have all of the sensible people gone???

6. There are so many major failures of this administration it's very hard to
single out just one.

OBL was cornered at one point, according to reports, and the U.S. military opted to delay pursuit and allowed him to slip over the border (presumably) into mostly-lawless mountain regions in Pakistan.

That has to count as a major failure. But I'd throw in the Social Security fiasco, the constant lying by Bush administration officials on virtually everything, the let's-circumvent-Congress attitude that prevails, the pro-active torture recommendations by Alberto Gonzales, the horrendous appointments to various posts of which John Bolton is only one disaster, and the contemptuous response to civil liberties across a wide spectrum.

Plus, they cheated to win. Twice.

9. Failure after failure after outrage after treason after failure.
Good God somebody should have an intervention.

10. I could go with an intervention, definitely, but were the decision mine
to make, I'd favor the VERY deep vat of manure into which traitors and cheats in the Bush administration (and all their supporters) (it's a BIG vat) would be summarily dumped and from which they would never be heard from again.

I realize this poses certain legal complications.

But the idea has enormous appeal.

7. Because the Democrats wouldn't be able to capture him either?
If they were in charge.

I think more of an effort could / should be made to capture him, or rather, should have been made before bush's Iraq venture, but it just might be dumb luck now that would lead to his capture or death.

8. 9/11, what I see as his greatest failure among many, was not a failure
from their perspective. It was one victory in their war on democracy and the goal to take over first america and then the world, crushing all opposition.
