I'm surprised there wasn't an announcement or something. Did he say anything good?

7. DUers Are Supposed To Be Watching Faux???
Unless I'm in the mood for some self mutilation or there's some big thing (like Fitzmas) where I may pop over for some well-deserved schadenfreude...there's no way in hell any television in my house...or one within object throwing distance is allowed on in my house.

Hopefully someone with a far stronger stomache trapped it, if there was anything of value the General has had to say.

Peace...

10. Eh, I'm not interested in 2008
I don't think that's his reason for being on Fox really. I think he's there to give the freeper minions the occasional glimpse of truth.

But for the record, Clark in 2008 would be fine with me, esp if he could find a place for a certain somebody else who is pictured in my sig.

13. Someone watched and here's their report:
The question, should we have gone to war. Based on an article in the Chicago Tribune (which I'm not familiar with). Bush says he still should have gone to war even if there were no WMD. He asks Wes and Wes says, "No." Good! Very definite. Interviewer challenges about Sadaam's intentions, potentials, resisting inspectors, etc. Wes doesn't buy it. We could have circled Sadaam. Used mililtary pressure. Etc., etc. Again, interviewer challenges Wes. Wes says he doesn't presume to understand Sadaam's mind. We could have started inspections again. Administration put the cart before the horse. To justify the invasion. Interviewer asks how many more UN resolutions we would have needed.

Wes says, "So what if we took two more years if he was no threat to us."

Interviewer speaks of the "spreading of the virus of democracy," a phrase from the Chicago Tribune it seems. Wes says there are two points here. We know that Sadaam didn't have the weapons. It was hyped. Interview interjects and argues how successful the voting was. Doesn't let Wes get to second point. Wes points out some of the realities related to the election. Wouldn't it be a tragedy if in the guise of democracy we have a theocratic Iranian state in Iraq? (not exactly in those words). Interviewer has to have the last word, saying we don't want to ignore what has gone right. Wes smiles and says how good it is to be with you.

I'm downloading the clip now, and looking forward to it. Yes, he does kick fox-butt. Someone's gotta do it.
