These snippets are exactly why Helen Thomas is all but ignored at the press conferences. SHE DON'T TAKE NO CRAP AND SHE GETS TO THE CORE OF THE MATTER. The rest of the press are a bunch of jellyfish. No spine.

The woman doing the interview (Suzanne Geha anchor from WOOD TV) is the niece of Helen Thomas, in this world of the so-called liberal media..ha,ha, that might be the only reason this interview got to see the light of day. Grand Rapids is not what you would call a progresive town.

11. Helen has been one of the few journalists to keep the door open
so we can see the light at the end of this long dark tunnel. I hope we can get a Democrat as president and that she will be given a Medal of Freedom. For once that medal would be appropriately given. She's brave, true, and honest. A great woman.
