This is a scathing condemnation of Bushco.
<snip>
Mr Annan described the current situation in Iraq as "extremely dangerous" and empathised with the plight of ordinary Iraqis.

"If I were an average Iraqi obviously I would make the same comparison, that they had a dictator who was brutal but they had their streets, they could go out, their kids could go to school and come back home without a mother or father worrying, 'Am I going to see my child again?'

Watch the interview.

1. Sad, Pathetic, and Alarming.....this could be the start of a world wide conflict
much worse than ever imagined.....many millions will die/wounded...

Bush and the GOP have no Idea what they have initiated...none...they have no clue of the serious consequences that may be unleashed in the near future.

But then, some of them, the PNACers, the NeoCons, may actually want a confrontation between Islam and Xtians....the Mother of Holy Wars. If so, Billions will die.....Billions.

Such is the Humanity we know....Brutal.

2. I knew when they went into Iraq that the war would cross borders
and spread all over the Middle East. The PNAC and GOP politics drove the invasion. Karl needed a war pResident to keep control for 8 years. Look at the cost.

3. We all saw that coming
Why Bushco thought they could lie about this and get away with it only they know. The chickens have surely come home to roost.

The Fool of a Tool was given the position to RULE....and he loves it...the trappings, the POWER, the sense of invincibility..,..it all has gotten to his HEAD...like a child with a loaded gun he wonders about threatening the world...

6. "like a child with a loaded gun"
Should be impeached and jailed ASAP, for the good of the country and the world! What good is increasing the minimum wage if we don't have a world left to spend the money in?

8. Bush is destroying the World through Neglect and IGNORANCE
He has no Idea on what he can do with his powers to make a positive difference...him being on the Neg side of things all his life.

With that, Hubert is right, Bush need to be shown the door asap. He is counter productive for the Nation/Planet. Look at his track Record...its been a total disaster all the way....Even Bolton has jumped ship...

5. THINK ABOUT IT
EVERY REPUKE PRES FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS HAS STARTED A WAR.I THINK IT'S PART OF THEIR PLATFORM.
REAGAN (GRANDA),BUSH SENIOR (KUWAIT-IRAQ) AND JUNIOR THE CHUMP BACK TO IRAQ!
TRY THIS ON FOR SIZE:
POSSIBLE REASON,UNIFY COUNTRY SO AS TO RIP IT OFF. THEY PAID REAGAN 3 MILLION DOLLARS AFTER HIS PRESIDENCY(CHINA),BUT THE REAL RIP OFF WAS THE HIGH DEFICIT AND NO BID CONTRACTS GIVEN TO THE BIG PLAYERS.
NON- OF THEM HAVE WON A WAR.MERELY LEFT A MESS THAT COST US TO PACIFY!
THIS ONE EVEN A GRADE SCHOOL KID WHO STUDIED A LITTLE IN WORLD HISTORY WOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO START. AND WOULD KNOW EVEN BETTER NOT TO LET IT FESTER AFTER SADDAM WAS TAKEN OUT.
THIS WAS DONE STRICTLY FOR MONEY AND POLITICS.
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEND HIM A BOTTLE OF SPRING WATER WHEN HE'S IN PIN-STRIPES!

7. I saw this on BBC this morning
Kofi Annan hopes that history will forgive him for failing to stop the American-led invasion of Iraq.
