I can't figure out whether he's dishonest or I just don't trust him. Watching him on Hardball made me wonder about him anew. I heard him lie about why we invaded Iraq ( spreading democracy ) and started thinking about other things I've heard him present as truth.
His "We'll own that country...." statements concerning Iraq. Comments about Americans not wanting a president that thinks too much... the guy is a total joke. :nuke:
5. I think that Dan Rather was the only one of the big 3 to really be
concerned about the truth when it came to Bush election and to the Iraq War. Peter Jennings totally lost me when after a debate between Gore and Bush (we all know how that went) he was so surprised that the little group that ABC put together thought Gore had won. And the worst of the three was Tom Brokaw.
10. Brokaw is an embarrassment to any South Dakotan that isn't a hick...
... the way he sold his soul to Jack Welch (remember his multimillion $$$ anchor contract at NBC/GE?) and continues to play games with the truth makes me cringe everytime I see his name mentioned. Brokaw was and is an enabler of the fascist cadre in the U. S. of A.
Apparently I don't dislike him as much as others do, but I really haven't paid close attention to him short of his "L" parodies on various prime time cartoons.
