Bush QUOTE: "(John Bolton) did a FABULOUS job!"

"I accepted his resignation but I'm NOT happy about it. John deserved to be confirmed and the reason i say that is he did a FABULOUS job."

(This, as our long-time fans will recognize, is the slightly more ebullient of the "heckuva job" designations.)

1. So going by the Bush scale of compliments
this means he nearly plunged the planet into a blackhole?

3. Yep. Whenever Bush compliments your job performance...
he's really trying to hide his disgust. He's just not very good at covering up his emotions, when it comes to this particular area.

9. Well, "fabulous" DOES mean "barely credible". I always say:
Bush speaks his truth.

10. How "fabulous" a job was it, George?
The UN headquarters is still standing? Looks like your guy came up a little short of the mission.

(snip)

Bolton drew fire from Democrats in 1994 when he said at a Federalist Society forum that "there is no such thing as the United Nations."

"If the U.N. secretary building in New York lost 10 stories, it wouldn't make a bit of difference," he said.

12. I remember reading about that comment.
So typical of this administration to appoint a United Nations hater as our Ambassador to the UN. They've been an arrogant bunch, haven't they. We won't miss Bolton.
