Any news on Tweety's health? Also, about MS NBC situation? Someone said a lot of the people would
be moving to CNBC. I have not heard any follow-up on this.

1. I was just going to post what a difference Mike Barnacle makes
as a host of Hardball. It's a smooth, intelligent dialogue with Duffy from the Times and Chris Cizilla. I couldn't watch it when David Shuster was hosting so don't know how long Mike has been one. He does a great job. I have not heard a thing about Chris but hope MSNBC has something on their website. Mike Barnacle does an excellent job. I must admit I listen to Imus in the Morning and he is often a guest along with other columnists. Glad they saw the error of their ways.

3. He was in the hospital due to complications of diabetes.
I'm sure he's home by now but I just checked on the MSNBC website and of course, no information at all. Also, apologies for mis-spelling Barnicle....

5. Mike is a upgrade
and why would they move Keith to CNBC? He is the bread and butter of MSNBC.

4. A lot of the people moving to CNBC?
Is this some underhanded way to throw Keith under the bus? :tinfoilhat:

9. Good!
Can't be too careful where the corporate MSM is involved.

11. Back when NBC Universal was planning their layoffs
there were a lot of speculations among media watchers that Hardball and Countdown would be moved over to CNBC and that MSNBC would be converted to a "documentaries only" channel. However, when the plans were actually announced, they called for no such thing. The only thing that's changing is that MSNBC's Secaucus studio is closing, and both shows will eventually be broadcast regularly out of 30 Rock. Some other material will use the CNBC studio in Englewood Cliffs.

Keith does Countdown from 30 Rock two days a week anyway. Lately he's been there every Thursday and Friday. I do hope they get the new studio there ready soon, because right now they're doing it as a one-camera show. I've seen local news broadcasts with more variety in terms of camera angles. Anyway, both Tweety and Keith will continue to appear on MSNBC on your "dial."
