1. I saw that last night. I couldn't figure out if Joe thought it was funny or not. I certainly don't
think Colbert was being mean - I think he was just joking with Joe.

He said that Jon Stewart was the rudest person he ever met. He is extremely jealous of the two.

it's not becoming.

The guy who said his students know nothing about the world around them, but love Colbert is mistaken, I believe. I've seen several reports (including in the Rolling Stone interview with Jon and Stephen), that says their audience is VERY knowledgeable. They HAVE to be, or the shows wouldn't make sense. That guy seemed jealous, too - the third seemed ok - he at least gets what Stephen does.

That piece must have been why Colbert said last night his show was the place for the most clips of Stephen Colbert - after Scarborough Country!
