Bush's Numbers Are So Bad Even The GOP May End Up Wanting Him Impeached
http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

Zogby: 30% Approve/68% Disapprove (not listed on PR, but what the hell..)
Newsweek: 32%/60%
CNN: 37%/57%
FOX/OD: 38%/54%
AP-Ipsos: 33%/64%
Quinnipiac: 35%/58%
Pew: 32%/58%
USA Today/Gallup: 33%/62%

Let me ask you this: Do you really believe that in the dark inner sanctums of the GOP leadership
they wouldn't give Dick Cheney's first born grandchild to dump the current administration and
install someone like Giuliani or McCain to take their place?

Don't be surprised if a very real act of bipartisanship takes place in the next few months.

1. Yeah, and the worst part about it is that it won't actually make any difference...
Bush is just the visible part of this whole mess. The Republicans who are behind all this stupidity are going to weasel out of responsibility and make him their scapegoat and we'll have to go through all this again with a smarter, more calculating bunch in the public eye.

11. Not really. If they think they can save the GOP from extinction by installing
McCain or Rudy, they will do it. And as I've been saying for the past year, this is the very reason that the Dems won't impeach. They won't want to give McCain or Rudy a leg up in the election by letting them run as incumbents.
