Bush Makes Idiotic TV Appearance, Then Runs For Cover
Asshole came out to spout his "the way forward" BS, then took no questions, turned tail and ran.

Just now on CNN.

1. Well, "the way forward" is as plain as day to him. NO NEED to question or discuss it, I guess.
After all, look where his judgment has got us, so far. Don't you trust him?

13. Any time we doubt his judgment, he's quick to assure us it's good enough for him.
That some people accept this reassurance that he himself is 'sure' and satisfied with his own judgment is one of the more bizarre syndromes of the last 6 years. It even pervades the way the media asks questions. "Are you sure?" "Are you confident?" "Have you made mistakes?" Asking him these questions as though he's some 'expert' judge of his own performance. Ridiculous.

3. Good thing he was flanked by Darth and Condi-liar
Because America wouldn't have taken his speech seriously otherwise.

What the hell was the point of that?

4. He doesn't want any questions, because he has no answers.
Same story, new day.

The man is a gaping hole, there's no substance. He doesn't even have smart ass answers today. He has nothing to offer except more empty promises and spin.

The difference is, now he knows America is on to him. We no longer believe the bullshit. And he knows it.

The end is coming for Bush. When the new Congress takes action in January, he knows they will be looking at his actions, and that has got to make him uncomfortable.

9. So that whole illegal invasion and occupation thing was worth it!
I feel much better knowing about the brave reconstruction crews and their fine reports. And I'm so impressed that the Dictator-Tot read those reports. Because they're, um, important reports. That's why he read them. They're important.

14. You're right
He has, uh, good people. People who read things for him. Because they're important. And it's important to have good people read good things. Good reading is on the march, turning the corner, staying the course, moving foward, making progress. And that's important. And good. Importance is good.

20. Clearly You Understand Bush ..... LOL
"It's good that good people like you are able to move the rest of us forward.... so we can make progress in understanding that we have turned a corner and are no longer staying the course, but rather making good progress as we move forward with a new plan which was revealed today, which is good of course, for us, but not for the terrorists, definitely not for the terrorists, that would not be good, and it is important to remember this simple statement of importance when people say we do not have good ideas of how to succeed in Iraq, which we do of course, have good ideas, that are good --not bad, and I know I don't have to spell it out for you -- cause good ideas don't need explaining, they're just good ... you know?"

Crystal clear ....

23. ".... And That Is Why I Don't Need To Answer Any Questions."
"Because the New Way Forward plan is good. And good plans don't need explaining, and if you are not with us on this new plan, well --there is only one explanation for that, and that is you are against us and for the terrorists -- you see? See I know all this, so I will ask myself a question " Why are you so knowledgeable and smart about what to do in Iraq?" and I would answer myself, if I was not the one asking the question you understand, "Because I have a gut feeling that what we are doing there is good, and you know a gut feeling is better than being smart sometimes --but of course that does not mean I am not smart, in fact I have some of the smartest people here with me today (points to Uncle Dick and Condi), and they're smart too, but sometimes I have to tell 'em when they get it wrong, but they are smart .... and good, smart and good, right .... excuse me... what was your question?

Oh right, I am not taking questions, because I am the decider, and the plan is a good one. see?"

See, it's... uh... the thing is... a preznit's job... it's important, makin' decisions, deciding... and I know it's important... I know that... I'm the Commander-in-Chief... it's an important job... I'm important... and I have good folks I talk to about evil folks who want to kill good folks like the folks who talk to me about the evil folks who hate us for our freedom... which isn't free...

And that's, um, that's the lesson of September 11... folks... freedom... and staying the course... we're not about staying the course... we're about moving - marching - turning corners... so we have to, uh, we gotta stay the course... course-stayers... that's who we have to be... stay-coursers...

32. If I did not know better I would think you are Bush! .....
You have summed up the essence of Bush's thinking here:

" ...and I have good folks I talk to about evil folks who want to kill good folks like the folks who talk to me about the evil folks who hate us for our freedom... which isn't free..."

You could read this to anyone and they would recognize it as a Bush-ism.

Great work!

34. There is a cure for this condition .....
You need to be insulated from all things "Bush" for an extended period of time, and free your mind of erroneous, grammatically incorrect and mispronounced communication in the English language.

However, Bush-isms are likely to reverberate throughout the universe for some time given the comedic value inherent in them.

WARNING: More trouble ahead for you as Bush tries to explain how he is adopting a "New Way Forward" in Iraq which is different from his strategy of "staying the course" while refusing to change anything he has done so far and will do in the future. This is fertile ground for more 'Bush-isms' and could exacerbate the intensity of your present affliction.

36. The most dangerous thought keeps popping in my head .... out, out, .....
...just imagine Bush trying to explain to the Senate in his own pitiful way why he should not be removed from office after impeachment by the House.

The crying, ....the induced involuntary incoherence, ....the begging "to please make it stop...", ......and the that's just the Senate which has to sit through his tortured, irrational attempts to avoid justice being applied to him.

This could cause permanent damage to everyone concerned.

12. Between the walk there and back, straigtening his tie,...
having his nose wiped(pre- and post conference), and actually speaking, he probably spent as much time on that appearance as he did listening to the ISG (a whole hour! What a big boy!)

So does that elevate the importance of this conference, or downgrade even further the ISG?
