Obama to make announcement on Monday Night Football?
Edited on Mon Dec-11-06 08:01 PM by bbinacan
My brother just called me and said he heard Obama would make a major announcement during the game. Has anyone else heard this? What do you suppose he will say? On edit: Maybe he will just say "Are you ready for some football"?

8. Why not? I think it's a great idea. Tony and Joe are Dems. Don't know about Mike.
I was VERY surprised to read that all Theismann's political contributions were to Democrats. Mr Tony is very BLUE. PTI's normally orange sidebar was blue on election day.

I rather have Wesley Clark, Edwards or even Hillary
that's right, even Clinton.

7. I mean in the general election.
I can't imagine why anybody would want Clinton over Obama though.

I like Obama, but I just feel he's too green. Just my opinion, though.

18. Yeah, I keep hearing the "experience" argument for Obama.
Doesn't strike me as a good or valid argument.

19. Of course not! He's, like, popular!
I swear, I think that's the only reason some around here oppose him. He gets hype, therefore he must be bad.

14. Why is not a good idea?
Interesting that you make the accusation, but don't tell us why. I think it makes perfect sense.

he's going to announce that Grossman will be pulled in favor of Griese, if he doesn't get his act together and start playing better.
