The words "I'll be dead when they get it right" just scares the hell out of me
Bush's words about his "legacy" and how history will view his presidency. He's fuggin' delusional. He still thinks that he's got a message from God and will somehow prevail, no matter how many US soldiers and Iraqi deaths it costs!

Here is the full stoy via Huffingtonpost.

1. The only rational way
Bush could compare himself to Truman was if Truman bombed India instead of Japan. It's an Asian country so guilt by association works just fine.

3. That analogy really irked me... Bush thinking he was like Harry..
Someone should have reminded him of the famous "The Buck Stops Here" sign ol' Harry kept on his desk. Passin' that buck will be the legacy of Shrub.

2. If Junior is so religious...

...then why did he make that previous statement to Woodward about not knowing his
own legacy because "I'll be dead".

Junior supposedly believes in God and an afterlife---so wouldn't he be able to verify in
that afterlife--that his legacy is a steaming pile of donkey dung?

Seems to me that Junior's comments reveal that he thinks that after death there is no awareness--just nothingness.

4. And what scares me even more is what that sociopath said...
about "not bringing the troops home, even if laura and barney were the only supporters he would have"

Tell me that creepy war criminal can't touch THE button.
S'il-vous-plait.

6. The political equivalent of . . .
"If I can't have you, no man can!" Followed by shrieks and either gunfire, stabbing sounds or strangulation.
