Why would a government, any government, be crazy enough to sponsor a conference like that?



It makes no sense at all...

Anti-Semitism is state policy in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Attempts to deny it are futile; apologetics for it are reprehensible.

But what's repugnant is the innocent people who died in the Holocaust are the collateral damage.


Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is very a bad man. As bad as Hitler and worse than the deposed dictator next door...

Have in this instance long since passed over from rational considerations of statecraft and history into simple race hate and religious hate. It needs to be recognized for what it is, and left and progressive persons particularly need to denounce it as the reactionary garbage it is.

It seems to me both the courteous and the wisest course to treat people as serious in their statements and actions, and consider what they say and do what they mean.

I can't believe either them truly believe the Holocaust never occurred...

If they do in fact accept it occured, and lie to say it did not, there will be a reason for this. The reason, certainly in the case of Duke, is that he is himself an avowed Nazi, and would like to see it somewhat easier to be a Nazi and spread Nazi beliefs and platforms, and therefore wishes to whitewash crimes that have made it a little dicey to be a Nazi in the West. The fact is, he agrees with extermination of Jews, and would like to see it occur successfully on another go round at it.

Intelligence, Sir, is no armor against race hate: any number of quite intelligent men and women have incorporated into the very center of their character, and use their intelligence to justify it. Almadinijad is just one more in a very long line of such reptiles.

I'd like to see a citation that suggests that "...the money that backed Germany and the power behind Hitler and you find a lot of banks and some of the top people that ran these banks had Jewish ancestory."

I find your post reprehensible. Those who accuse Jews of collaborating in the Holocaust, almost invariably have a more than distasteful agenda to push. Your insinuation that Hitler wouldn't have gotten anywhere without the backing of bankers of Jewish ancestry is ugly. And although there were many other victims of Nazi oppression, if you can't recognize that there was a particular emphasis on ridding the world of Jews, you're not educated on the history of the period.

For the record the poster suggested the "Jews financed Hitler"...

I did state that people who use some of the arguments you use frequently have an agenda, and yes that agenda is frequently anti-semitic in nature.

I have no idea if you are or aren't a bigot, but I have noticed that practically all the bigots I've ever encountered have no idea that they are crippled by bigotry.

Just one other note: There are plenty of "Christian" nations in the world- England and Norway are two. There are plenty of Islamic nations in the world. There is one Jewish nation- and it is largely secular, though it certainly struggles with its identity.

The jews killed 6 million of their own just so they could get their own homeland. Am i the only one who sees the truth! *Starts bouncing off my nice rubber walls*
