CBS: Rough Year For Bush In Polls
Rough Year For Bush In Polls

NEW YORK, Dec. 28, 2005

(CBS) It was not a very good year for President Bush, according to an analysis of CBS News polls conducted over the course of 2005.

Widespread discontent with the war in Iraq was the primary factor in Mr. Bush's mostly lackluster ratings, but Americans also expressed unhappiness with the president's response to Hurricane Katrina and with his proposed overhaul of Social Security.

Mr. Bush started the year, the first of his second term, with a lower job approval rating than any two-term president in the past 50 years. And his numbers continued to sink from there.

Of course, he didn't actually get elected to Either term. The supremes Selected him the first time, and the machines cheated for him the second.

6. It's been a banner year, a lovely year for boosh.
After all the crap he has put America through, he's still walking around free, unlynched. Lucky man, unlucky us. His poll numbers are almost always inflated, by whatever means available. Next year ain't gonna be so kind.
