3. I saw it. It was SO liberating to see a Dem finally get a word in edgewise,
on CSPAN! And the message couldn't have been more powerful. The estimates are valid, and might be lower that realistic.
Basically, this admin is denying the loss of life in Iraq, dumbing down the numbers. Lancet is a well respected source, but after the initial story (where this admin denied the numbers could be accurate) I haven't seen any media picking up the truth torch.

8. I was surprised...
...though I probably shouldn't be, that when they got to the Q&A session, there were only about 4 members of the press present, and only one was able to come up with a question.
