Mike Malloy on Sirius

Coming to Sirius 9p-midnite starting next Monday!

Malloy was a guest on the Alex Bennet show today and they made the announcement.

I switched to XM a while back. I guess I have to hope for a merger.

Don't have satellite radio yet.

He left Sirius midway through last year when Air America jumped ship to XM. I missed him a lot, and started listening to recently online. Got a lifetime subscribtion to Sirius, so this is great news! Thanks for the heads up! Well appreciated!

I got XM mostly because Mike was on AAR. Now that Mike's gone from AAR, I limit my XM AAR listening to only a couple of shows.

Jon Iddiot is lame. Most dangerous liberal, my ass.

Randi talks over all her guests, puts words in their mouths, and is generally an ill-mannered boor.

Franken can be good. I still catch his show when Tom Oliphant or Joe Conason is on.

Sam Seder is the tops on AAR right now. Never has a bad show. Kudos to Sam. He's the real AAR star. On the left coast, I rarely get up and about in time to listen.

I listen to Ring of Fire every weekend. Mike and Bobby have honed their show to fine fiddle. It's a do not miss for me.

I don't think the Sirius deal is exclusive.

Although I'd be happy as a clam if they replaced Jon Iddiot with the truly "the most dangerous liberal" on the air, Mike Malloy.

Until then, at least I'll have the online stream.

Malloy's show will definitely be on Sirius Left 146. Yesterday, on my Sirius display, it said Stephanie Miller will now be from 6:00pm - 9:00pm with the TRUTHSEEKER on from 9:00pm to midnight!

as of Monday of next week, no more KQKE at night for me! extra benefit: Mike won't get pre-empted on Sirius by SFU sports half the time.

one more reason to tune out our SF Bay Area so-called "progressive" station! i'm so disgusted with them since they moved Randi Rhodes to the late-night dungeon, and put the very boring and ineffectual Rachel Maddow in drive time. KQKE rep says Randi's ratings were always "dismal" in this area and that she never garnered more than a "1%" share. if Tony Snow ever keels over, i've got his perfect replacement... and a ClearChannel employee to boot.

***and mad props to Mike for playing one of my favorite Nick Lowe songs last night, after playing Rumsferatu's evil BS "farewell" speeches.

I remember writing to Sirius urging them to pick him up...SWEET!

is that Nova M finally got their satellite uplink working this week; this allows Mike to be distributed to radio stations (and satellite radio) nationwide. KQKE 960 was apparently using less reliable ISDN lines to carry Mike for the past month or so.

Also, KPTK 1090 in Seattle will be picking up Mike at 11 PM PT, starting next Monday as well. Look for more AM radio affiliates to be carrying Mike in the weeks and months to come!

Nova M is also in negotiations with XM to air Mike as well (though it may be on a different station that Air America is on), so don't think that this is a Sirius-only deal.

They have said that they will carry Malloy as soon as feasibly possible.

XM and sirius radio shortly after the new year/ when the satellite uplink was completed. I hope that the Sirius deal is the first step and that he will be xm soon. As it is right now, I podcast him and always feel a day behind.

Is there any news from Sirius about the lineup that will surround him, or any other changes to show time or length?
